In a corporate office, more than hard work, it is the smart work that matters. Therefore, every employee needs to do multitasking to prove his efficiency. Therefore, task-specific teams assign tasks to specific team-members.
With so many tasks to be done and so many results to be analyzed, a lot of time and efforts is required by team leaders or employees who themselves have to submit the report of complete or pending tasks.

Hence, to simplify the office work, Asana app helps users to manage all office tasks and team projects.
What is Asana?

Following the motto of “From chaos to clarity”, Asana app enables teams to complete all stages of their office work. It classifies and organizes tasks, conversations projects, and dashboards.

Tracking the progress of any project becomes easy when responsibilities and sequences of steps regarding task progress are clear. Hence, a user can start a task and accomplish it, keeping a track of every activity and time taken to complete that activity.

Users can plan and implement their ideas and plan the schedule and sequence for the next steps to be taken.
Key features of Asana:

  1. Bird-eye view on progress: User can see progress for any project without scheduling a status meeting or sending an email.
  2. Smarter inbox: Users can experience better spam filters that junk away unwanted messages and allow relevant team updates.
  3. Task customization: Using Asana Premium, users can use custom fields to track anything (and everything) that is important to them or relevant to the tasks. Things that can be tracked include (but are not limited to) bugs, leads, or job applicants.

  6. Subtasks: All tasks can be broken into smaller parts in order to divide the work among multiple people. These parts are subtasks which are steps towards concluding a task. Although, they are embedded within a parent task, subtasks can function like independent tasks as they have all the same fields as a parent task. Completing a parent task does not complete the subtasks within it. Permissions can also be added to subtasks as per requirement. Tags can be added to tasks or subtasks in order to categorize them.
  7. Deadline settings: When the fields are being filled and the task is being created, user (team-leader) can set deadline for the tasks. Due time can also be set for employees to complete the tasks. There are fields to add descriptions so that employees can have better understanding of tasks and can complete them within deadline.
  8. Comments & Attachments: This feature is used for providing additional information and insights to the employees. Sometimes, additional files are required to complete a task. Such files can be uploaded as attachments. These attachments can be uploaded from computer or tablet or dropbox or any device that is being used.
