The Swipe MTV Slash4X User Review!
We get lots of emails from our users on how they found our products. Whether they loved it, liked it, or thought there was room for improvement. Last week Swipe and MTV launched our latest 7” Quad Core tablet- The MTV Slash 4X which has received an overwhelming response from our users.
Today, we are posting a review from Sneha Lal, one of the first customers to buy the MTV Slash 4X, and who took the time to write to us about her impressions.
“ I was on the lookout for a compact tab for myself for quite awhile. I work in a bank, and have to constantly check and reply to mails as well as edit spreadsheets on the go. I used to carry a laptop with me, but found it too bulky and slow to boot. A tablet is light weight, compact and quick to boot. On the flipside, tablets are usually underpowered and expensive.
The Mtv Slash 4X was recommended to me by a colleague who is using the MTV VOLT 1000, another fablet from Swipe. He told me he had a great experience with Swipe products, and told me to consider the Slate 4X. I checked the specifications of the tab online. It came with a Quad core Processor, 1GB Ram and a 7” Display with OGS. I looked for other tablets with similar features. There was the XOLO Tab QC800 Priced at Rs 12399 and the Simmtronics XPAD Freedom Priced at Rs 13999. The Slash 4X boasted of similar specifications at only Rs 8999, so I bought one online on ebay.
I have been using the Slash4X for one week now, and let me give you my impressions about the device. It is very fast, and there is no perceptible lag. The Quad core processor takes care of multitasking brilliantly. I can edit spreadsheets, construct a power point presentation as well as reply to emails simultaneously on the go. The Slash 4X is 3G enabled, so browsing is very fast.
The Slash 4X is not just all work and no play. I am a casual gamer, so I mostly play temple run and Subway surfer. However, the Slash 4X can easily let you play games with high graphics due to its capable hardware. Also, it has got some exclusive MTV content which is sure to appeal to the youth.
As for the cons of this device, I wish it came in more color options. Also I wish the camera was at least 5 MP. That being said, the current 2MP camera is quite decent as well.
All in all, I am quite happy with my purchase and it is currently the best option under Rs 1000. I would certainly recommend everyone I know to buy it.”
